Day 01: Departure from Iquique to Uyuni Salt Flat. On the way visit the Lookout to Chuzmiza Ravine, to have refreshments, and Cariquima town to visit its textile center and then reach Colchane, to cross the border Chile-Bolivia, arriving to the Pisiga Bolivar control of Bolivia. Cross the Coipasa Salt Flat, having a photographic safari of flora and fauna, plus time to Box Lunch and walk admiring this natural sanctuary. Arrival at the “Hotel de Sal” Tayka or similar. It’s located to the north side of the Uyuni Salt Flat, as close to Tunupa Volcano. Then dinner and lodging.
Day 02: Breakfast and departure to the Island of fish (Incawasi), to take pictures. Here we are much of the morning observing flora and fauna, with its traditional and giant castus and famous corals. It is one of the largest salt deserts worldwide, formed by evaporation of ancient seas. Wildlife, vegetation and landscapes of intense white, its nuances caused by the sunset, are a real natural spectacle. Box Lunch and time for pictures along the way. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and lodging.
Day 03: Breakfast and departure at 07:30 to the border control between Pisiga and Colchane, to return to Chile. Then Photo Safari in the Isluga Volcano National Park and visit the Aravilla Lagoons, Mauque and Enquelga villages, the Hot springs of Enquelga located at the foot of the volcano. Box Lunch and return to Iquique to visit the Giant of Atacama Geoglyph and have snacks in front of the Geolglyph. Arrival in Iquique at 20:00 hrs.
