We invite you to enjoy the high-altitude hot springs of Lirima, amidst the silence and peace that you can find in nature, under a mirror of landscape in the Huasco Salt flat, where the volcanoes are reflected and you will discover its wildlife open to your eyes.

An exciting experience awaits you in the Pica Highlands, a region of beautiful landscapes and Andean wildlife.  After crossing the coastal mountain range, we connect with the Pan-American Highway and head east.  We arrive at the Huasco Salt flat (3,900 meters above sea level), a popular spot for observing beautiful flamingos and a variety of other wildlife. We continue to the exquisite Lirima Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the thermal baths amidst the Andean highlands.

Then we return to the arid desert along the route that connects the Salar del Huasco with the Pica and Matilla oases. We arrive at the Pica Oasis (1,300 meters above sea level) and visit the 16th-century Church of San Andrés and the semi-thermal pool “Cocha Resbaladero,” where you can enjoy its waters and a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant. Next, we’ll stop to visit the Jurassic Park dinosaur replicas, before arriving at the Matilla Oasis (1,240 m.a.s.l.) to see the colonial church and Spanish wine press. Return to Iquique.
