HUASCO SALT FLAT & LIRIMA HOT SPRINGS + PICA OASIS TOUR

We invite you to enjoy the altiplanic hot springs of Lirima, amid the silence and peace that you can find in nature, under a mirror of landscaping in the Huasco Salt Flat, where the volcanoes are reflected and you will discover its wildlife open to your eyes.

Interesting experience to Pica Highlands.  Departure enjoying a breathtaking view of the city, Coastal Range and the Pacific Ocean.   Cross the Tamarugal Forest (3.280 ft. o.s.l.) and watch, facing West the extended Tamarugal pampas.  While climbing observe different ecosystems until arriving to Highplateau.   Arrive to beautiful Huasco Salt Flat (12.792 ft. o.s.l.) swampy lake, shelter for lovely parinas and llamas.  Carefull stroll the lagoon shore watching wildlife.  We continue to the exquisite Lirima hot springs, for a relaxing thermal bath in the middle of the highland nature.   Then return to the arid desert, arriving to the Great Atacama Oases of Pica (4,376 ft. o.s.l.) and Matilla (4,061 ft. o.s.l.).  Here, in Pica enjoy a typical lunch at Restaurant and “La Cocha” Springwater and continue to Matilla Oasis, to visit colonial church and spanish winepress.  Returning, cross La Tirana and Pozo Almonte towns and arrive to Iquique.
