Start at 09:00 am. and transfer to the mouth of the Lluta River (Nature Estuary: Large quantity and variety of birds).
Entrance to the Lluta Valley, one of the transversal valleys that cross the vast territories that encompass the Atacama Desert, where we will find an important panel of Geoglyphs, an archaeological vestige of the ancient civilizations that transited through these valleys. Visit to the Church of Poconchile and the village of farmers “Molino”. Return to Poconchile where we will take a detour to cross from the Lluta Valley to the Azapa Valley.
Visit to the Archaeological Museum of San Miguel de Azapa, where the oldest mummies in the world stand out. Visit to the Craft Village and the Agricultural Terminal where we will have the opportunity to learn about the fruits and vegetables that are produced in the cross-sectional valleys of the area, such as Azapa olives.
We continue towards the Geoglyphs of Cerro Sombrero and Cerro Sagrado with all their cultural background. Then visit the Pukara de San Lorenzo, a defensive Pre-Inca village and the funerary system of the Tumuli from 500 BC. Return to Hotel in Arica.
