Departure from Hotel between 08:00 and 09:00 hrs, to cross the Coastal Range and then enter the desert, on a direct route to Cerro Unita (Unita Hill), where the Giant of Tarapacá or Atacama Geoglyph located. The largest geoglyph in the world in a human figure, 119 meters long, drawn on the northwestern flank of Cerro Unita, which represents an ancestral divinity such as the god Tunupa or a shaman or healer of his Kechua people.
After knowing the history of this incredible geoglyph, sought after by 99% of European and American tourists who visit our region, we will continue towards the foothills to visit the beautiful town located in the Chusmiza ravine, the scene of beautiful cacti and highland fauna, in addition to eagles that live on the walls of the creek.
We will have an exquisite typical lunch in a typical Aymara restaurant in Chusmiza andean town and then we will enjoy its incredible rustic, underground and medicinal hot springs. Return to Iquique arriving between 18:30 and 19:00 hrs approx. leaving passengers at their place of lodging.
